We were out on Bike Patrol for the NPS today on the C&O Canal and rode across the Potomac River to Shepherdstown, WV for lunch. This was the scene we encountered on the ride back to the tow path. This is at mile point 72.7 of 184.5 (Georgetown, Washington, DC to Cumberland, MD).
