This is a mating pair of Emerald Swallowtail butterflies that were photographed in the Wings of Fancy Butterfly Exhibit at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD. This image was enhanced using Photoshop.

A spectacular close up for its great color and minute detail. There is sharp and then there is "this sharp" which I really like! :-) Butterfly close ups don't get any better than this.
