This is an enhanced image of the Cullasaja Falls of the Cullasaja River in the Cullasaja Gorge located between Highlands and Franklin, NC in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This was one of the most impressive falls that we saw during this trip. I would rate both the Upper Whitewater Falls and the Toxaway Falls ahead of these but that in no way detracts from the majesty of these in my view.
Photoshop CS3 was used to enhance this image. It has undergone considerable cloning in addition to the application of a the dry brush filter to get the desired final result.
