Can Spring Be Far Behind?

The witch hazel bushes are in full bloom in the Winter Garden of Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD. I saw three different colors, this red one (Diane), a yellow one, and an orange colored one (Orange Peel). It is encouraging to see these signs of things to come!

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the rich colors and spriggy witch hazel. Our every-other day snow threats are getting old! Prediction 3-4 inches last night... that fizzled down to a skiff.
