Another view of the gull from yesterday - this time a vertical (portrait) composition. I think I prefer this one to the horizontal (landscape) composition. This image was enhanced using Photoshop.

I also like the vertical better. Some of the elements in the picture seem to suggest a vertical format.

Nice composition. I do prefer the vertical crop to the horizontal. The gull is nicely framed by the sticks and grass.
