Another winter scene featuring an S curve of a stream in the composition - this time starting from the right. Out of curiosity, I flipped this one 180 degrees but it was not nearly as appealing. This is a small side stream that flow into Rock Creek behind our home. This is from my archives - still just raining and blowing here - better than a winter storm, I guess.

Ahh, snow. This is a pretty benign looking sight...are you getting pelted with snow now? I'm a bit concerned as I will be spending the holidays in Virginia and I only own short sleeve shirts. (hmmmm.)

Hi, Bud. I like this scene with the intricate snow-covered branches. But, I don't see this photo as being opposite of yesterday's photo. This stream is generally "centered." I do agree with you that a left S curve is better than a right S curve.

A fine looking stream. The blanket of snow makes it very picturesque.

Thats really interesting that you are experimenting with those 180 degree flips. I've read that ones native language can play a role in ones directional preference. Those who read from left to right will tend to view an image differently than those who read from right to left or top to bottom.
