I had to reach back into last year's archives for this one. It shows a small cascade on Croydon Creek in Rockville, Maryland. It is in the Montgomery County park system that totals about 38,000 acres. There are many venues of interest to a photographer such as this one.
It has been overcast and drizzling so I was reminded of this image. I was experimenting with slow shutter speeds to achieve a pleasing 'painting with water' look. I was happy with this result.

The slow shutter produced a fine looking stream of water that still has some detail. I like the look very much.

This is very nice. The slow shutter speed makes the water look like drapes of silk.

Glad you pulled this one out, Bud. I've yet to play with my shutter speed, yet.
