More "Old" Houses

More "Old" Houses

previous | home | next

More 'old' houses, this time they are bird houses made from old materials including old license plates for roofs. He also has come up with a clever use of old shovels as shown. This scene caught my eye while driving in Frederick County, Maryland near Tuscarora. It was taken in October, thus the Halloween color theme of some of the bird houses.

Rick, the artist who makes these, does this for a living - I see him at all the local crafts shows with his clever creations. At his studio/home, you pay him for them by sticking your payment into a bird house that he has mounted on the front door!

Donna,

The "real photography" police paid me a visit and made me remove some of my fauxtographs - they also warmed me about false advertising, thus the name change of the blog!
