One of the joys of wandering through the Gardens that I frequent is watching the chipmunks scurry about over the rocks and through the flower beds. This one seems to be in search of yet another tasty morsel in nature's abundant pantry. I caught this little fellow pausing for just a second while on the hunt before it scampered off.
Location/Date: Brookside Gardens, Wheaton, MD, May 21, 2004.

A GREAT detailed capture of this bright-eyed creature. He is probably having a "camouflage moment."
