Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Our Japanese maple is at it peak Fall color and our sugar maple has dropped its leaves. Some of the latter have fallen on the Japanese maple and that inspired this image. The Beech tree woods behind our yard is in full Fall colors as well and was being lit by the morning sun light in this shot.

Location/Date: My backyard in North Bethesda, MD, November 22, 2007.
