Corner of Catoctin Hollow & Mink Farm Roads

Corner of Catoctin Hollow Rd & Mink Hollow Rd

previous | home | next

Abandoned but still standing - I often wonder what this farm was like in its hay day! It always brings a smile to my face when I pass it!

Location/Date: Corner of Catoctin Hollow Road and Mink Farm Road on Catoctin Mountain in Frederick County, Maryland - near the town of Thurmont, MD, November 17, 2003.

I'm always charmed by this type of roadside composition. Nice presentation.

I'm a bit amazed by the number of abandoned buildings in the rural landscape.
