Sunflower

Sunflower

previous | home | next

The warm temperatures have returned and this image from summers past seemed fitting. If you look closely, you can spot a critter on this summertime blossom.

Location/Date: Brookside Gardens, Wheaton, MD, July 19, 2003.

Great colour and detail here. Im not too sure about the black background, seems to leave the petals with straight edges in places

The nicest sunflower photo I've ever seen... The side-view treatment sets it apart and adds unique perspective to this subject. The bee is proof that you're outdoors and not in a studio.

Bud, this is a great flower profile. Much more interesting than "full face"
