
This is a follow up to the image that I posted two days ago. This time I shot a yellow angel's trumpet flower but had three SB-800's in the setup. While playing around with different lighting angles I tried shooting straight up into the blossom from below with a strobe on an off camera cord (from about 1 foot away) while the other two strobes were pointed toward the bottom of the blossom from either side (from about 6-8 feet away).
I accept up front that not everyone will like this image but I am experimenting and wanted to share it to show how dramatically differently one can render a subject with these multi strobe techniques.

It is wonderful to me! The light on the flower is so intense and the texture so vivid...it feels like you can touch it! Great!
