I worked for about a week to get this momma Wood Duck to allow me to sit close to her and her chicks - it sure was worth the time invested!

I've been spending some time this morning looking at your excellent nature photographs. This is my first visit; I discovered you from a comment you posted elsewhere. This particular photo is excellent. I love the hint of blue feathers on the mother.
