Yesterday we saw that after having a good swim and checking for something to eat, it was time to leave the pool using the ramp the staff built to begin exploring their surroundings. Soon it was time for a rest and this provided an opportunity to snap a family portrait. Can you spot the runt in the photo, he pretty shy but says, 'peek-a-boo!'
This image is a digital creation that involved cloning sprigs of grass off the faces of several of the ducklings and giving the overall image a painted look - hope you like it!
This is the end of the initial chapter in the saga of the 'potted' duck family. Tomorrow I will begin the next chapter showing the antics of the ducklings exploring their surroundings during their first few days of life.

This image requires some extra time to appreciate the details. You can start at the bottom of the image and look at each face as you go up the image until you end with the "runt" in the back.
