Suzie Mallard Leaves Nest

Suzie Mallard Leaves Nest

previous | home | next

Suzie Mallard takes flight from the nest to go feed. She shot off the nest so fast that I clipped her wing tips in this shot. When she returned to the nest she would land in the pool and then hop into the tulip pot. This is a digital art creation using the dry brush filter in Photoshop.

Tomorrow I'll show the newly hatched ducklings and some unhatched eggs in the tulip pot nest.

The clipping wings don't matter. The focus is clearly her head and body with the Tulip background. I like it.

Very nice image. I agree, the clipped wings isn't a negative. Well done!
